Candy Production Area (Outside Air Dehumidification)

BACKGROUND

The requirement of this project is dry out side air of 3,000 CFM supply to the candy production area in order to keep the room positive and control its humidity as not over than 50%RH maximum at 21˚C.

FAU (Fresh Air Handler) has been designed with using aluminum plate heat exchanger for pre-cooling and re-heating according to its requirement.

SOLUTION

NANTIER team has surveyed installation area where FAU (Fresh Air Handler) would be located. After survey, our team has adjusting location of air inlet/outlet, piping, and access doors for perfectly fit installation at limited area.

FAU has been delivered and unassembled, then they were carried up piece by piece to be reassembled again at the installation area. Ducting and piping were installed according to our as-built 3D drawing.

RESULTS

FAU has dehumidified and supplied air volume of 3,000 CFM cooled dry air (Dew point temperature less than or equal to 10 degree C) automatically to the existing AHU which is controlled by our FAU PLC controller.
